EBRAINS provides digital tools and services which can be used to address challenges in brain research and brain-inspired technology development. The Health Data Cloud enhances EBRAINS through provision of new services for sensitive data. 

As part of a multinational team of academic and industrial partners in the Human Brain Project, Indoc Research and its European subsidiary is leading the deployment of the privacy compliant service based on Pilot that will provide:

1. A federated research ecosystem that enables neuroscience research consortia across Europe and beyond to collect, process, and share sensitive data in a GDPR-compliant manner. 

2. Seamless access to high performance computing and analytics using encryption and sandboxing for data protection. 

3. New services that are interoperable with EBRAINS research infrastructure and services, built upon FAIR data principles and open standards. 

4. A solution built on proven system architecture that provides agility and scalability to address evolving research data needs.
